Settings

You can use the Settings facilities to control what data the program uses. There are 3 main types of setting:

User Group (Pro) / User settings (Easy)

Adjustments

Export

The Auto button takes you into an important procedure to help you set the right percentiles.

In addition there are settings for User Definition and Monte-Carlo modelling parameters (Pro version)

All these settings are saved together in a Settings File.

The default settings file is called 'Default.psz', and it is loaded automatically every time you start PeopleSize, from the Start In folder.

So, to make the current Settings load automatically in the future, save them as "Default".

When you save, all the settings in the file are updated to all the current settings.

You can make extra settings files by giving another name in the Save Settings dialog box. Then you can use the Load Settings command to switch to any settings file. This can be useful for project work, or on shared computers.

The '.psz' filename extension is registered as a PeopleSize file, and will open PeopleSize and load if clicked or double-clicked. Also, a shortcut to a '.psz' file will open and load into PeopleSize.

The Delete Export File facility (in the File menu) also works on settings files, if the .psz filename extension is specified.
