PeopleSize is protected by international copyright and database rights laws, and customers must not distribute, copy, lend or use it outside the terms of the licence agreement, or permit copying. The licence agreement limits its use to the logical possibility of only one concurrent instance per licence. PeopleSize is designed to be used with its Help system, and the data are to be interpreted according to that information. PeopleSize is not sold with technical support, although we will help customers to get the program running. Your DataYou agree that Open Ergonomics will gather and store information about your computer, network and system identity, as part of its licensing system.CopyrightThe illustrations and data are the intellectual property of Open Ergonomics Ltd. We include as part of your licence a dispensation to reproduce them free of charge, provided that they are not included in an item that is offered for sale as a product, or republished to a wide audience. In other words, they can be included in a report to a client, but not, for example, sold in a book or put on a web page (without our specific permission). If they are used in documents circulated only within your company (i.e. a company that owns a licence to use PeopleSize), no acknowledgement is required. If they are used in documents that are made available outside your company, such as a report to a client, the source and copyright should be clearly acknowledged by the text "Reproduced from PeopleSize with the permission of Open Ergonomics Ltd". You may not otherwise use any part of PeopleSize without all its constituent parts as supplied, for example you may not substitute other data or in any way reverse-engineer the product or use it for another purpose, or use the interface or its design in any other way.LiabilityYou agree that Open Ergonomics Ltd will not be liable for damages arising out of the use of or inability to use PeopleSize software, even if Open Ergonomics Ltd have been advised of the possibility of such damages. All datasets and programs are prone to errors, including those arising from estimation processes.Interpretation from measurement to product specification is often necessary, and user trials are necessary before committing to a design. The customer takes responsibility for intertpreting and validating anthropometry data for the designs or other purposes for which the data are used." |
